Upper ASCII characters codes in HTML

Here’s a list of ASCII characters and their HTML codes for reference while creating pages with foreign or accented language. This information is also useful when working in Windows to add accented characters to text.

You can look at the source for this page for the HTML syntax you need or you can open Windows notepad and type ALT+NNNN where N is a 4-digit number representing ASCII value. For example, to display the © character in Windows simply type ALT+0169.

Also note that not all fonts support these extended characters so your mileage may vary. Items that show up as HTML codes on this page instead of special characters are not supported by the font used by your browser.
